Fall Style Inspiration for your Family Photography Session - St. Louis Photography
The season of Fall family photography sessions is quickly approaching. Photographers are taking deep breathes and going to bed early to prepare for the increase in sessions, client communication and editing time. It's hectic, my friends. Super hectic.
I've scheduled 2 dates for mini sessions and wanted to post some style inspiration for clients since I don't include personalized wardrobe selection with my minis. That service is only included when you book a full session with me. This first post is all about the Mom. We dress her first, and then figure out the remaining family members.
I've said it a hundred times, but it's worth repeating...dresses photograph well! Long, short or something midi...just make it a little flowy and you will be thanking me later! There is clearly a trend with swingy, throw-on dresses. These are so versatile and can be paired with booties, sneakers, or knee high boots. Also, pair with a jacket or chunky sweater for added textures and visual interest. Below are some of my favorites from Mango, Madewell and Banana Republic.
